The difference between a standard wall panel and insulated wall panel is that the latter is cast with rigid insulation between two layers or wythes of concrete. Insulation is full width and height. Precast wall systems can be used with both steel and cast in place structural systems. Composite panels connect the two wythes of concrete without penetrating the insulation with a conductive material.

The panels can provide concrete answers to satisfy your design program and project delivery objectives. This allows the structural performance to be based on the full thickness of the panel. The insulation thickness can vary to create the desired thermal insulating property r value for the wall. Integral insulation refers to insulation placed between two layers of thermal mass.
