Integra Driver Door Wont Lock

There are a few small things that need to be fixed and i ve been slacking so i m star.

Integra driver door wont lock.

At least that s the way it works on my teg. After the first two weeks the arm disarm button would arm disarm the alarm but it would not lock unlock the doors also the driver and passenger interior door lock switches stopped working completely. Its a honda thing. Driver door will not open.

To lock the doors insert the key into the lock on the driver s door and rotate the key counterclockwise until you hear the doors lock. Lol i think that was short. In order to get your door lock to work when the door is open you need to pull the inside door handle and the same time as pressing the lock button on the inside of the car. The door is closed so i cannot take off the door panel i can get in the car by opening the passenger door and climbing into the drivers seat. I m guess it s not a 2008 2009 acura because that feature has been taken away recently.

It s a manual lock in the handle. You can get around it by holding the door release lever open as if you were trying to get out of the car and then manually locking it. So i had to lock the doors manually with the key outside my car. My driver door wont unlock.
